The Liverpool Vets

A bit about us

We’ve got you covered!

WHAT DRIVES US?

Our Values

CARE

Caring for our city’s pets.
We know how worrying it is to have a poorly pet. We promise that we will help you make the best decisions for treatment and will always take very great care of your pet.

TRUST
We know that trust has to be earned. We offer over 50 years combined experience veterinary care. We promise to use that experience, our knowledge and dedication to provide outstanding care to build and keep your trust
CONTINUITY OF CARE
We know that seeing the same vet builds confidence and trust. In our small, experienced team, you will always see the same faces. We want you to feel part of our family
INDEPENDENT
We are the first new independent practice in Liverpool for over 30 years. We promise to always offer what’s best for your pet without any corporate agenda or policies.
COMMUNITY
We have worked with Liverpool based charities for many years: helping dogs belonging to homeless people, supporting local rehoming centres, trying to reduce the number of people bitten by dogs and educating school children about healthy, happy, safe pets in our city.

(Donations of food/treats and clothing for dogs and their owners gratefully received at the clinic)

HAPPy, HEALTHY, SAFE PETS
As Well as being healthy, we want your pets to have their ‘best possible life’, so we are here to give advice on things like puppy socialisation, making your home exciting for cats and for rabbits living indoors (come and see our cat climbing frame in the clinic!) and special care for pets as they age
Team

Meet Our Team

We are a small group of experienced and dedicated veterinary professionals. We have worked together in Liverpool for many years, and have come together with a shared mission to establish and deliver a truly outstanding veterinary clinic in our city.

Dr Danielle Greenberg

BVSc MRCVS
Founder / Veterinary Surgeon

Danielle qualified from Liverpool University Vet school in 1998. She fosters B, a Staffy Dog given up by a homeless man.

Dr Karen Sanders

BVSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon

Karen qualified from Liverpool University Vet School in 2007. She has a beautiful white and earless cat called Philomena.

Brett Donnelly

RVN
Head Nurse

Brett has worked in veterinary practices since being a teenager. He qualified as an RVN in 2013 and is our Head Nurse. He has Kevin, a rabbit he hand reared as an orphan when his mother rejected the kits, Bailey a bossy Bichon Frise, and Finlay his timid Tabby cat.

Victoria Hayes

Practice Manager

Vicky has always worked in a veterinary clinic. Starting out cleaning kennels as a teenager, progressing to nurse, then receptionist and is now our practice manager. She has Eric and Tala, her stunning and laid back Northern Inuit dogs and Elsie, her fiery elderly ginger cat.

Ash Mooney

Aisling Mooney is a 4th Year Veterinary Student at Liverpool University who is intercalating this year, so will be our Saturday Receptionist. She has a super cute little black cat called Simon
